Dolly Parton Pie
Ingredients:
#1. (9-inch) fold-out pie crust, thawed
#2. 3 eggs
#3. 3/4 cup sugar
#4. 3/4 cup light corn syrup
#5. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
#6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
#7. 1 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
#8. 4 tablespoons butter, melted
#9. Whipped cream, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions Are:
Step #1. Wash your hands for 20 minutes.
Step #2. Get oven mitt’s to wair on your hand’s.
Step #3. DONT GET BURNED AT ALL.
Step #4. PLEASE BE REALLY CAREFUL.
Step #5. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
Step #6 Line a 9-inch pie pan with the unrolled crust, cutting off any overhang.
Step #7. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a hand mixer.
Step #8. DON’T OVER MIX.
Step #9. Add the sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt gradually to the beaten eggs, mixing to combine.
Step #11. Add the melted butter and mix until thoroughly combined.
Step #12. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell.
Step #13. Add the walnuts, spreading them evenly throughout the mixture.
Step #14. Bake for 10 minutes.
Step #15. Reduce the oven heat to 300 degrees F.
Step #16. Bake for 45 minutes, adding a collar of foil around the crust after 30 minutes.
Step #17. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Step 18. -Serve with whipped cream.
