1. South Korea’s symbolic bird is the Korean magpie. Legend has it that
hearing this guy sing in the early morning means good news.
2.More then 10 million people live in the central district of Seoul.
3.The Jeju Olle Trail is a walking path that goes around the entire island.
More then 260 miles in all. Depending on which part of the trail you walk,
you’ll pass sandy beaches, dormant volcanoes, traditional villages, or
ancient temples.
4. Off the coast of the island, a group of expert divers called, sea women,
go as deep as 30 to 40 feet below the ocean’s surface to collect conch and
octopus. All of these divers are women, none of them dive with oxygen, and
some of them are in their 80’s.
