1. What is your favorite Christmas carol? My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. I love that it reminds us that Jesus is about peace and love.
2. If you could get any Christmas gift, regardless of cost, what would you want to receive? I would want a trip to the Maldives! That’s a very far away place. It takes 20 hours on a plane to get there. But, they say the water is very clear and there are lots of colorful fish there. I would also want to stay in a house on top of the water. They have a lot of those there.
3. Would you rather be somewhere warm or somewhere with snow at Christmas time? I am really looking forward to being somewhere warm in Florida for Christmas this year. But, the most important thing to me is being by my family. So, if my family are in Manitoba in the cold, I’d rather be there!
4. What is one happy Christmas memory that you have? I love the memories of you, Ellie, opening your Christmas gifts and getting really excited about them!
5. What is your favorite thing to do on Christmas day? My favorite thing to do on Christmas day is to spend time with my family. I love opening presents and seeing how happy my loved ones are with the gifts I’ve given them.
6. What is your favorite Christmas decoration? I think my favorite Christmas decoration is our stockings! I love that they hang over the fireplace and that they have our names on them.
7. What is your favorite Christmas movie? My favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It is very very funny!
8. What is the best thing to eat for Christmas day, in your opinion? I think my favorite thing to eat on Christmas day is mashed potatoes. First of all, I love potatoes. Second of all, I love butter. Third of all, mashed potatoes go with everything!
9. What kind of food would you leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve? Well, I’ve heard that Santa really loves cookies so I think I would leave him some Monster cookies. They are my favorite!
10. What is your favorite Christmas outfit that you’ve worn (that you remember)?
When I was a little girl, Grandma made me a very special Christmas dress one year. It was made out of really soft material. It was purple. I loved it!
