Libby was excited to throw her dog Sprinkles, a birthday party.
Mom, if you were throwing a birthday party for Oreo, or Ovie, or Tasha, or Scamp, or Piper.
Question’s for you to answer.
#1. What would you do?
If I were having a doggie birthday party for Oreo, Ovie, Tasha, Scamp and Piper I would rent a dog park with a big fence. Then all of the dogs could run around without leashes! I would also make sure there was lots of doggie toys in the park and bring some frisbees for them to catch.
#2. Would there be a theem?
The theme for my doggie birthday party would be Winnipeg Jets! I know that Tasha and Scamp don’t know anything about the Jets, but I think they would still really like it. All the dogs would have Winnipeg Jets shirts to wear and I would ask my daughter Ellie to make a banner with the Winnipeg Jets logo and in the Jets colors of grey and blue. I would also buy grey and blue balloons to complete the theme!

Yes, the theme would be Winnipeg Jets!#4. What party food would you serve?
Of course, I would serve doggie treats! I think all of the dogs like bacon and bones, so I would make sure to serve them that. I would also have food for the people and dog owners! I would serve pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, tots and cake.
#5. What part of decoration’s would you put up?
I would put up the banner that my daughter made. It would say, “Happy Birthday Dogs!” on it. I would also have some balloons. Then I would have Winnipeg Jets paper plates and cups and napkins.
#6. Who would you invite?
I would invite all the dog owners and their families!
#7. Where would the party be?
The party would be in Panama City Beach, Florida, at the dog section of the beach, right by the pier. The dogs would have so much fun running in the sand! I wonder which dogs would not be scared of the ocean waves and would run in the water? I think Oreo would be scared, but Ovie wouldn’t be!
#8. What would you buy for the birthday dog?
I would buy each dog a special toy that would squeak and it would be in Jets colors.
