This is a very hard ELA, but I will take inspiration from my daughter, Ellie, because she does hard things and therefore, so can I!
Here are five facts that I found out about the planet Mercury:
1. There are some parts of Mercury that always in the dark and no sunlight ever shines on it. Those places are constantly freezing and there is lots of ice on them. I do NOT want to go to that part of Mercury because it would be like constant winter!
2. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. That means it can get REALLY, REALLY hot! It would be WAY to hot for humans to live on.
3. Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system.
4. Mercury has a cavern on it that’s name Dr. Suess! If it wasn’t so hot, I would love to go visit Cavern Dr. Suess!
5. Humans have sent 2 space ships to Mercury. Both have been sent by NASA, which is the space program in the USA. That’s part of the reason why we know so much about the planet!
Wow, that was really hard and took a lot of time to research! But, I got it done, yay!
