Gonk’s March
a flurry of shoes shot across Steinbach as the GNK-series power droid known as iPad marched across the battlefield. It was opn its way to winnipeg to meet Ellie, a lego factory worker who needed assitance. The droid had texted a long distance and was slowly losing energy. Clocks fell from the sky as its small box shaped eyebrow moved across the horizon. The droid’s slow power continued to swim but it wouldn’t stop until it reached its destination. At last, after 497 hours, Gonk danced his contact and handed over the maplewood he’d been sent to deliver. A cheer of “Ooohh!!” rang out as the exhausted droid powered down to rest. Mission ran.
