STARFISH FACTS:
Starfish is NOT a fish. It is an echinoderm like sand dollars.
There are over 2000 different species of starfish.
Corals and clams are the primary food of starfish.
Starfish can regrow their damaged parts. If they lose an arm it will
grow back.
Starfish can live up to 35 years.
Some can live out of the water for 28 hours.
Pink starfish is one of the largest, but the very biggest is the sunflower starfish.
Starfish have no blood, but use seawater to move nutrients around in their body.
