Dark-eyed Juncos can be found all over Manitoba.
They spend most of their time on their ground and are very trusting.
Sometimes they will even eat seed from the ground right by your feet.
They usually don’t eat at the feeder but like to knock seeds from it onto the ground and eat from the ground.
Dark-eyed Juncos are in Manitoba from late March to mid-November. They build nests on the ground and eat bugs, berries, and seeds.
