Meat Potato Quiche

Ingredient’s Are:
#1. 3 cup’s shredded potatoes (either grate your own, or use packaged hashbrowns. )
#2. 3 Tablespoon’s of oil or the melted butter.
#3. 1-2 cup’s grated Swiss or cheddar cheese.
(Carol’s Mom always used Swiss)
#4. ¾ cup cooked browned sausage (or any kind of cooked diced meat.)
#5. 1 cup evaporated or rich milk (you can just use whatever milk you normally buy as well.)
#6. 2 fresh eggs
Carol use’s 3 or 4, but we like eggs around here.)
#7. ½ teaspoon of salt.
#8. 1/8 teaspoon of pepper.
#9. 1 Tablespoon of the parsley flakes

 
Direction’s Are:

#1. Wash your hand’s.
#2. Get a aprin
#3. Get oven mitt’s.
#4. Pre heat the oven to 425 degrees.
#5. In a 9-inch pie plate, mix the potatoes with oil or butter and press evenly into pie crust shape.
#6. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or just until beginning to brown.
#7. Remove from the oven and layer on the cheese and meat.
#8. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
#9. Pour this mixture on top of the other ingredients and sprinkle with parsley.
#10. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. #11. Let it cool for 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.
#12. Enjoy them.
