day, but the last place I went in a VAN was to Jenna & Ellory’s house for Thanksgiving.

2. What is the latest music you listened to?

and now back to Ohio!

R: Oh my… okay, let’s see:

1. West Virginia

2. Ohio

3. Iowa

4. Pennsylvania

5. Alabama

6. Texas

7. Manitoba

So I guess seven!

4. What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?

E: Mint Oreo, Moose Tracks, and Chocolate Chunk.

T: I love the yummy goodness of Moose Tracks. And way back when, I always used to get a chocolate almond ice cream cone whenever I went to Baskin-Robbins.

R: Any kind that’s available, hah! Okay, fine, then I’d probably say Moose Tracks, the peanut butter cup kind.

5. Who do you miss the most from your past?

E: Southern Grandpa and my Great Grandpa Lowen.

T: Of course I miss Jesse, but also I miss my Grandparents Nichols because we did so many things together. And they were always helping me in one way or another.

R: That’s tough… I’m going to go with “way past” then, NOT someone more recent, and say my high school science teacher. Also, I just got sad that high school is “way past” for me. Boo!

(T: You think it is way past for YOU, ha! Try having graduated over 50

years ago!)

6. Name 3 movies you think are really funny.

E: Movies that make me laugh:

1. Christmas on the Square

2. The Princess and the Frog

3. Snow White (some parts)

T: Movies that I often quote and laugh about:

1. Spaced Invaders,

more, so:

#3 – Monty Python & the Holy Grail

7. Would you rather spend time in the mountains or at a beach?

E: I like to go to the beach.

T: In the mountains!! Especially in the fall when the weather is moderate and the leaves are colorful.

R: Oooo tough one! I’m going to say mountains, as long as it’s not COLD. I like the beach and the sound of the waves and being warm, but I also like sitting outside and reading and listening to all the birds and other animals in the trees in the mountains.

8. What’s the best cooking show you’ve ever watched?

E: Dolly Parton has a cooking show, so I watch that on YouTube.

T: I saw “The Everyday Gourmet: The Joy of Mediterranean Cooking” with Chef Bill Briwa on The Great Courses Plus and really liked his personality and teaching style. He gives a lot of history about a food that makes it really interesting. Also used to watch Emeril Lagasse.

R: I’ve watched so many, how do I pick?! Actually, no, it’s not so hardafter all: Good Eats, with Alton Brown. It’s funny AND has really good cooking tips, plus science!

9. If you could go shopping for a new friend, what characteristics would you look for?

E: I would choose someone who likes some of the same things I do. They should also be kind and helpful.

T: I think it’s important

1 – To have some shared interests, 2 – Be loyal (no back stabbers!) and 3 – likes to communicate regularly.

4 – And one always needs a sense of humor!!!!

R: I’d look for someone who:

#1 – is kind & likes all kinds of people

#2 – gets my sense of humor, and has their own

#3 – has interesting hobbies, but also like to just chill sometimes

10. What would be the coolest animal to scale up to the size of a horse?

E: I would like to have a Gold Finch that is the size of a horse.

T: I’ve racked my brain on this one. (Who came up with these hard questions? 😁)

I guess I’ll go with a Sugar Glider. Then I could glide from tree to tree on its back. Or even better, how about a horse-sized hummingbird? Wow, you could really ZIP around!

R: Another tough one! I’m going to go with a fennec fox – the ones you learned about that are the smallest foxes and live in the desert and have

big ears. It’d make for a super-cute and furry and fast ride!

11. If you could have instant knowledge on how to speak a different language fluently, which one would you choose?

E: French

T: Spanish

R: Probably French.

12. What fantasy creature would you love to bring into the real world?

E: A flying horse like Pegasus.

T: Dragons like the ones in the Pern series. They are telepathic and waycool!

R: Falcor the luck dragon from the Never-Ending Story movie!

13. If you were writing a cookbook, what kind of food would it be about?

E: I’d like a cookbook about Mashed Potatoes.

T: Bread of all kinds.

R: Pickles! It’d be called “The Perfectly Palatable Pickle” and I would dedicate it to the biggest pickle lover I know: Elbow!
