Snickerdoodle recipe
Ingredients
#1. 1 cup of the Unsalted Butter (softened)
#2. 1 1/2 cups Sugar
#3. 2 large fresh egg’s
#4. 2 teaspoon’s of the Vanilla
#5. 2 3/4 cup’s of the flour
#6. 1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
#7. 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
#8. 1 teaspoon Salt
Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
#1. 1/4 cup Sugar
#2. 1 1/2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
Instructions
#1. Wash your hand’s before you do baking.
#2. Get a apron on before you do baking.
#3. Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees.
#4. Cream butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
#5. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla.
#6. Cream for 1-2 minutes longer.
#7. Stir in the flour, and the cream of tartar, and the baking soda, and the salt, just until combined.
#8. In a small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon.
Part 2
#1. If time allows, wrap the dough and let it refrigerate for about 20-30 minutes.
#2. Roll it into small ball’s until it is round and smooth.
#3. Drop into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and coat well.
#4. Using a spoon, coat for a second time, ensuring the cookie ball’s are completely covered.
#5. To make flatter snickerdoodles, press down in the center of the ball before placing in the oven. This helps to keep them from puffing up in the middle.
#6. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
#7. Bake for about 9-11 minutes.
#8. Let it cool for several minutes on baking sheet before removing from the pan.
#9. Now the best part is to eat one
