The Morning:
Before Breakfast:
Today I woke up at 7:00. My mom came into my bedroom at 7:00. My mom got me out of my bed at 7:00. My mom got me HALF DRESSED. I got into my wheelchair by myself. I started my computer. I posted something to my blog. The something was a recipe. The recipe that I posted on my blog was the Enchiladas recipe. I woke my dad up. My dad put on my AFO’S at 9:00.

Breakfast Time:
I took a picture of my breakfast. I sent it to the food Chat and workout. The food Chat and workout is a group on my phone. I was watching a video on YouTube. The YouTube video that I was watching was about a family. I had Cheerios for breakfast. It was good.

When Beth was here:
We did some Science We learnt about light. The video that we were watching was called: Bill Nye: Light and Colour. We were waching it on my mom’s computer. It was fun to watching it. I like Bill Nye.

Science Class Time With Beth:
Today we made a colour changing crystal. We guessed what colours it would make when we mixed red, green, and blue light. We guessed that red and green light would make black but it actually made yellow. We guessed that red and blue would make purple and it did, it made a shade of purple called magenta. We guessed that green and blue would make red and it actually made teal, also called cyan. We guessed that all three colours would make white and it did. We watched Bill Nye The Science Guy. The video that we were watching was called: Light and Colour. We learned that white light is made of all the colours of the rainbow. When white light goes through a prism the light splits up into all the colours and makes a rainbow. The colour’s of the rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. You can remember the order because the first letters of the colours spell out Roy G Biv. When you mix the colours all together, you get Black, but when you mix all the colours of light together, you get white.
Things look a certain colour, because they reflect that colour of light and absorb the rest of the colours.
Ellise’s water bottle is purple because it absorbs all the colours except for purple, or violet.
When colours of light get absorbed, they turn into heat. Things that are black absorb all the colour’s, so if you put black thing’s in the sun they will feel hot. White doesn’t absorb any colour’s, AT ALL it reflects them all, so it doesn’t feel as hot in the sun as black.
Laser’s are a kind of light that you can’t see until they reflect off of something, like smoke or dust.
When light hits a bubble, most of it goes right through, but some of the light reflects off of the bubble.
That’s why we can see colours in bubbles.
There is pigment in paints, dye, and in markers.
The pigments reflect certain colours of light so that the things they are in will be that colour.

Reading Time With Beth:
I read for 35 minutes. I read 20 pages today. The book that I am reading now is called: A Trick For Hoock. I put a stamp onto my ELA chart. I have 8 stamp’s on there now.
