Owl Fun Facts:
#1. Owl’s don’t build their own nests! Instead, they move into ones left behind by other birds!

#4. Manitoba’s provincial bird is called the Great Grey owl, but they also live in other part’s of North America, and Europe, and Asia.

#7. They have long tail’s, and fluffy feather’s, and yellow eye’s and beak’s.

#10. Instead of billding their own nest’s, great grey owl’s find other nest’s made by the other large bird’s and use those, or something they will use a hole spot in a tree.
#11. They usually lay around 4 egg’s at a time that are a little smaller then a chicken’s egg’s.
#12. Baby owl’s are called owlet’s.
#13. 3 to 4 week’s after the owlet’s hatch, they jump or fall from the nest and have to climb back up the tree, but another week or 2 after that, they already know how to fly.
#14. Great grey owl’s are good hunter’s.
#15. They eat small animal’s like mice and vole’s.
#16. They can see and hear them in the snow for a long way away, and they can grab them from under the snow with their claw’s.
