1 1/4 cup warm water or milk
3 teaspoons yeast
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons oil
1 egg
3 1/3 cups flour
In mixer add all ingredients, but only enough flour to make a slurry. Let rise until double and bubbly. Then add the rest of the flour, and roll into soft ball. Cover and let rise till double. Then cut off small pieces of dough and Pat into a 3″ circle. Add meat mixture and inch closed. Put on pan seam down. Let rise until almost double. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Meat mixture
1 pound hamberger
3 tablespoons onions
1 shredded carrot
3 tablespoons mashed potatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Fry in pan until done. Set aside to cool.
