Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builder’s
Mathew 7:24-27
Jesus told a story about two men, each building a house.
The first man made sure to build his house on a rock.
When the rain and the storm’s came in, and the water rose, and the wind’s blew, the house didn’t fallAT ALL!
It stayed firm because it was built on the rock.
This man was wise.
The second man built his house on sand.
When the rain came, the water’s rose, and the wind’s blew, the house that was built on the sand came crashing ALL the way down!
This man was foolish.
Jesus said to everyone who here’s, His word’s, and ignore’s them is like his foolish builder who built his house on the sand.
When the storm’s of life affect them, their faith come’s crashing down.
Jesus want’s us to
be wise!
Everyone who hear’s, his word’s that he has to say to them, and obey’s them is like the wise man who
built his house on the rock.
Wise people build their live’s and faith on the foundation of God’s word.
This faith stand’s
strong against the
storm’s of life.
