Note From Dolly

Here is a note from Dolly that was included in her book called: A Cote Of Many Color’s:
People as me all the time wich is my favorite song that I have written. That’s a easy answer for me!
“Coat Of Many Color’s” is my favorite song and most special.
It is very special to me to remember my mom.
It warm’s my hart that for many people the word’s to this song has been a lesson to STOP bullying people in school.
On the day I wore my coat of many color’s to school I felt terrible hurt when people made fun of me.
It is a pain that take’s a long time to go away.
In fact, it really went away until I sat down to write this song.
Writing this song helped my hart to heal.
There is nothing wrong with being different.
I think those who choose to bully others didn’t know how to act around people who are different then them.
I hope this book can show people that bullying hurt’s and we should be kind to each other.
And if you are someone who has been bullied because you’re different, I hope thiss book help’s you too.
You are NOT alone and you are wonderful because you are different.
You will be okay.
If this book can help one child feel better, then I guess my dream’s for thiss book will have come true.
